Inter Pacific Post University (IPPU), operating as the online flagship initiative under the United Nations Inter Pacific Association (UNIPA), enforces a transparent and structured Refund Policy. This policy governs all financial transactions, including application fees, tuition payments, and administrative costs processed via our official Stripe gateway.

1. Application & Processing Fees (Non-Refundable)
* Non-Refundable Nature: Application processing fees ($50 USD for Degree Programs / $100 USD for Ph.D.) cover administrative verification, credential evaluation, and Stripe transaction handling. These fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the admission outcome.

2. Tuition Fee Refunds
Tuition refund eligibility is determined based on the official notification date submitted by the student to the Executive Secretariat:
* 100% Tuition Refund: If a formal written withdrawal request is submitted before the official program start date (or before LMS portal credentials are activated), the student is eligible for a full refund of tuition fees paid, minus a $50 USD administrative processing fee.
* 75% Tuition Refund: If the withdrawal request is submitted within 1 to 7 calendar days after the program start date or portal activation.
* 50% Tuition Refund: If the withdrawal request is submitted within 8 to 14 calendar days after the program start date or portal activation.
* No Refund (0%): No tuition refunds will be granted after 14 calendar days from the program start date or portal activation.

3. Program Cancellation or Admission Denied
* Institutional Cancellation: If IPPU cancels a program prior to its start date, enrolled students will receive a 100% full refund of all tuition fees paid.
* Admission Rejection: If an applicant pays tuition fees in advance but their application is subsequently rejected by the Academic Admissions Committee, all paid tuition fees will be fully refunded (excluding the non-refundable application fee).

4. Non-Refundable Items & Circumstances
No refunds will be issued under the following conditions:
* Academic Dismissal: Students expelled or suspended due to academic dishonesty, code of conduct violations, or non-compliance with university policies.
* Course Materials & Graduation Fees: Issued e-books, administrative certificates, degree attestation fees, or physical diploma dispatch costs once processed.
* Partial Semester Drop: Dropping individual subjects while remaining enrolled in the overall program after the 14-day refund window.

5. Refund Request Procedure & Stripe Processing
To request a refund, students must follow the official procedure:
* Step 1: Written Application: Submit a formal request to the Executive Secretariat via email at finance@ippu.university detailing the student ID, payment receipt, and reason for withdrawal.
* Step 2: Verification: The Finance Office evaluates the eligibility based on the request timestamp and fee records within 5–7 business days.
* Step 3: Disbursal via Stripe: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account) directly through the Stripe gateway.
* Timeline: Once approved, Stripe processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days to reflect in the payee’s bank account or card balance.

6. Policy Modifications
IPPU reserves the right to review and amend this Refund Policy. Any updates will take effect immediately upon being posted on the university web portal.
